AGATONE Hockey Company
Dave Agatone, owner/designer has been designing and building high performance,
cutting edge goaltending equipment since the late ‘80’s.
Agatone founded DJA Custom Sports Inc. in 1987, as well as designed for Mattingly Sports
and their NHL prospect, Chris Terreri.
In 1994, Agatone partnered with Lin Proskey to form Vortex Custom Mfg. ,Inc..
Vortex became a predominant supplier the ECHL, as well as the American Hockey League.
Agatone joined GDI, the Goaltender Development Institute in the fall of 2007. Working closely with Ian Clark,
Agatone and Proskey developed cutting edge products designed to compliment today’s modern goaltender
.
With the closure of GDI’s equipment division, Dave Agatone is once again designing and building custom
goaltending equipment under the AGATONE Hockey Co. brand.
Agatone Hockey sells factory direct as well as through a very select,
highly respected retailers through their custom program. |
